This enchanted B&B for sale has been designed and built in the typical style of an Andalusian farmhouse (Cortijo) but with all the facilities of a small hotel. This gives the Casa Rural a special and personal quality, offering a warm and friendly welcome which will make you feel truly at home.

The hotel has a total of 8 rooms inside the main building with capacity for 21-27 guests, all rooms with their own bathrooms and incredible views. There is also a cottage built of natural stone with capacity for 2-4 people and two small self-contained apartments with capacity for 2 each on the other side of the property.

On the ground floor there is a large lounge and dining area with two fireplaces and lots of sofas, a full bar, gender specific bathrooms and a full professional kitchen intended to be a full day restaurant, to cap off the ground floor is the reception/check-in area and a twin room with en-suite bathroom suitable for the disabled.

The second floor has a small lounge with several great views as well as the eight different rooms, all with different names and characteristics.

On the outside we'll find to one side of the property the stone cottage and to the other the two small independent apartments. There is also a pool with shower, sun chairs, a BBQ, table tennis area, horse stable and everything is surrounded by incredible views of the valley and the sierra as well as fruit trees lending shadow and beauty.

The property is sits on the outside of the village of Güejar Sierra and the Sierra Nevada trails which can be walked or cycled, the location is secluded enough to cater to clients looking for a retreat as no other single building can be viewed from the property.
Granada and the famous Alhambra are just 16km away although it takes a 30 minute drive to get there because the property is set in the mountain side, the Sierra Nevada ski resort is 30 minutes out while the Costa Tropical beaches are just 40 minutes away giving guest everything they could want, a true retreat with easy access to Granada and the Alhambra as well as winter and summer season activities.

Activities available to guests:

Astronomy - enjoy a guided tour of the night sky on our site using a variety of telescopes and other equipment.

Ballooning over Granada – take an aerial trip around the area and see Granada from above.

Horse Riding – take a quiet horse ride along the trails and tracks around the hotel enjoying the scenery and tranquility as you go.

Photography tours – Bring your camera along and take shots of stunning sunsets and landscapes.

Rafting – local rivers provide an adventurous activity for those who like to get wet. Level: Easy, ideal for beginners, families and children. Minimum participants: 2 people. Activity duration: 2:30 hours. Season: July and August
Includes: Overalls and boots of neoprene life jacket, helmet, Liability Insurance and Assistance, transfers to/from the base, qualified, licensed instructors.
Materials needed: Swimsuit and towel. Recommendations: own vehicle for travel.

Segway Tours – learn to use this innovative way of travel to go to places that are impossible to reach by car.

Skiing (winter) – we are around 30 minutes away from the ski fields of the Sierra Nevada for those who love the activity.

Beaches (summer) – the beaches at Costa Tropical are often secluded and unbuilt, giving them an air of national park type beaches, but for those wanting a good meal and wine the towns of Almunecar and Nerja with its Balcon de Europa are nearby.

Swimming – Own pool for you to take a dip to keep cool or a swim if you prefer a little more exercise.

Walking and Guided walks –Wonderful range of walks which are suitable for all ages and ranges of walkers.

In addition we are close to Granada and you can't visit the area without a trip to the city and to see the famous Alhambra. Visit the city which is around 30 minutes away.
