La Cala de MIjas has a nice little town center with a lot of restaurants, super markeds and on wednesdays they have a outdoor marked. Also you have a banks, police, shops, bars, sportsclub and a golf course. The local buss take to either the town of Fuengirola, Marbella, airport etc.... The beach promenade is long and take you to Cabopino in Marbella in 1,5 hour. There are a few restaurants along the promenade.
La Cala de Mijas is only 25 minutes drive with a car from the airport, 20 minutes to Marbella and only 7 minutes to Fuengirola. Close to everything.
